2011 Pro bono aliance award

The law firm Holubová - advokáti s.r.o. is the recipient of the Pro bono aliance award for its systematic support of the Pro bono centrum project

Over the three years that this project has been underway, our law office has responded to the greatest number of queries from non-profit organisations. On top of that, Štěpán Holub has helped to promote the project to the general public and the professional community. Pro bono aliance advocates greater accessibility to legal assistance for the greatest number of those in need. To this end, Pro bono aliance brings together lawyers who attempt to increase the efficiency of the legal system in protecting human rights and public interests. As part of its efforts to achieve this goal, it organises educational events, supports the exchange of experience among lawyers of non-profit organisations and other legal professions, and takes part in drafting legislative changes. Our law firm takes Pro bono cases under the principle of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
